ABN AMRO is looking for an experienced Designer who can take ABN AMRO's design system called: Emerald to the next level. How is it ensured that this design system is easy to use for 80+ designers and a much larger group of developers?Emerald is a product and platform-transcending design system, which means that it facilitates products that can each have a different function. For example, it is the basis of the internet banking environment, the ABN AMRO website but also the ABN AMRO app. How do you ensure that Emerald has an accelerating effect for all these product teams and how do we set up good cooperation with these teams? In addition, the next steps are also being taken in the field of Accessibility and making that part of the guidelines that our design system facilitates.
As a UX designer, you play a pivotal role within the Front-end teams. You are the voice of the customer, bridging the gap between their needs and outstanding designs. Working alongside your team(s), you take charge of the customer journey and product excellence. Your responsibilities encompass designing, prototyping, and validating in various stages, including engaging directly with customers in our dedicated UX Research lab.
But that's not all! You're not just an individual contributor; you're part of a dynamic design circle that includes multiple talented designers. This particular job opportunity is tailored for the role of a UX designer within the domain of Personal Finance at ABN AMRO. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the intricate, consumer-facing web products offered by ABN AMRO, such as Investment, Pension, and Mortgage services. What sets this role apart is the need for an appreciation of complexity.
Your primary focus will be on the Investment teams, but you may also have the opportunity to lend your expertise to support the Mortgage teams. It's a chance to delve deep into the world of finance, enhancing the user experience for our clients navigating these intricate financial landscapes. You're familiar with the methods and possess the foundational skills necessary to craft a seamless customer experience. Your approach is structured, creative, and your design process is well thought out. Naturally, you're a curious digital enthusiast, continuously striving for the best customer experience. You don't shy away from stakeholder management and are eager to tackle complexity head-on. You're well-versed in current web standards and have a minimum of 3 years of work experience (excluding internships). Your educational background includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to UX, such as CMD, DFI, and the like.
